Auto Trader’s New Car Award 2022 winners were determined by over 156,000 UK car owners, with drivers rating their cars on everything from reliability to performance and style to how easy they are to live with. The duo of awards further confirms Dacia as a true consumer champion, with owners’ real-world experiences underlining the brand’s commitment to delivering robust and reliable cars that represent unbeatable value for money.
On once again crowning Dacia the Best Value Brand, Erin Baker, Editorial Director at Auto Trader, said: “When it comes to the best value brand, reliability, space and quality where all qualities consumers valued the most. Dacia owners told us that they felt overwhelmingly that their car was good value for the price they paid. They said they loved feeling that they got a lot of features for a low cost and incredible value for money.”
The Dacia Duster was enhanced in 2021 with the arrival of a dual-clutch automatic transmission, additional ADAS features and a fresh new design. It continues to be a big hit with SUV buyers and has been Europe’s best-selling retail SUV since 2018.
Erin Baker added: “The Dacia Duster proves itself as the consumers favourite car on a budget. The car has ample space and provides great value for drivers. We received some brilliant feedback from owners who commented on its low running costs, extolling the “economy of ownership.”

The award-winning Dacia range consists of the Sandero, Sandero Stepway, New Duster, New Duster Commercial and the All-New Jogger.
