ENGLAND RUGBY LEAGUE PLAYERS GEAR UP FOR NEW ZEALAND SERIES IN ALL-NEW DACIA DUSTERS
As England gear up for their upcoming home series against New Zealand, some of the team’s players have been getting behind the wheel of a fleet of All-New Dusters which have been loaned to them by Dacia, proud partner of England Rugby League.
  • Several cars have been made available to the squad for players, including brothers George and Tom Burgess, who collected their vehicles on arrival to the UK and will have exclusive use during the international window which encompasses four matches this October and November.

The award winning All-New Duster starts at just £9,995 and features brand new exterior styling with a totally revised interior for enhanced comfort and quality. New technologies, never before available on the Dacia range also feature, such as climate control, keyless entry, blind spot warning and automatic headlights.

Louise O’Sullivan, Head of Dacia UK, said: “As England’s principal partner, we were more than happy to provide the England players with vehicles whilst they are here representing the nation. For us it’s a small gesture, but rugby league is a tight knit game built on local communities and family, and we know that the players really appreciate the freedom that a car provides, allowing them to get around easily whilst they are home.”

On collecting his loan vehicle, Josh Hodgson, Canberra Raiders hooker who previously played for both Hull FC and Hull KR, and will be back on home soil in the first Test at KCOM Stadium on Saturday: “I’ve brought my family over with me from Canberra for a few weeks, and they’re staying in Hull – so it’s been fantastic to have a vehicle sorted out by Dacia to help me get back and forth from our training camps in Manchester and Leeds.”

The games will be the first in the UK since the partnership between Dacia and England Rugby League was announced in June. The landmark deal sees Dacia lending their support to all England teams, appearing on the shirts of the elite men, elite women, wheelchair and Knights players.
