• Additional MY20 Kia e-Niro now more widely available in the West Midlands
• All-new Soul EV supply also increases for UK customers
• e-Niro customer lead times now the shortest since launch in 2018

  • Since its launch in 2018, the multi-award winning Kia e-Niro has received high praise and significant demand from customers. While the majority of reservations initially added to a growing list of back orders that Sutton Park Kia has worked hard to fulfil, delivery time is now shorter than it has ever been.

With a class leading 282-mile range, the e-Niro has proven to be immensely popular with customers as demand for electric vehicles has risen. The sales figures speak for themselves; in July Kia Motors UK delivered more e-Niros in one month than in the entirety of 2019. Now firmly into the second half of 2020, availability has been increased even further, allowing for the shortest lead times for the MY20 e-Niro since launch. Customers who order a MY20 e-Niro now can expect to receive their car in September, in time for the new ‘70’ registration plate change or during Quarter Four.

Additionally this increased e-Niro availability provides Sutton Park Kia the opportunity to present more demonstrator models – either for static dealership display or test drive opportunities - allowing customers to see and feel the car and enhance the buying process.

Neil Boffey, Group Sales Manager at Sutton Park Kia, commented: “For many, electric vehicles are a new experience so having more demonstrators on site is an ideal opportunity for our customers to get to grips with the car. We also have experts at the dealership who can help answer all your questions.”

Neil Boffey continued: “The e-Niro has been hugely successful as it offers a range that challenges some of the premium electric vehicles, but at a more attractive price point. While the demand is still high, it is great to now be able our offer customers a much shorter lead time for MY20 e-Niros.”

The MY20 e-Niro ‘4’ grade offers 201bhp (150kW) through its pure electric drivetrain and provides a zero tail pipe emission range of 282 miles driving range (combined) or 382 miles in a city environment. It’s also packed with convenience features such as Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ embedded into a modern and stylish interior.

The increase in supply is focussed mainly on the e-Niro, however additional supply has also been added to the UK allocation of Soul EVs, giving more UK customers the option between two highly specified and capable battery electric vehicles.

There is something to suit everyone across the Kia eco range, including the latest Plug-in Hybrid variants of the XCeed and Ceed Sportswagon. The Sportage is also available with a mild-hybrid powertrain, offering customers increased economy in the same best-selling SUV packaging. Get in contact with Sutton Park Kia to find out more.
