EXCELLENT EV6 TOPS CATEGORY AT PARKERS NEW CAR AWARDS 2023
The Kia EV6 has topped its class at the Parkers New Car Awards 2023, being named ‘Best Large Electric Car’, and continuing its impressive run of award wins since its UK launch in October 2021.
Judges praised the EV6 for its practical and well-thought-out interior, striking exterior design and engaging driving dynamics
Keith Adams, Editor of Parkers, remarked: “What makes the EV6 so good? Everything. That bold bodywork hides a practical interior and a large boot, and even the most basic, low-spec model feels futuristic and special inside. It is good to drive, too. Whether you go for the cheaper rear-wheel drive or the all-wheel drive, twin-motor variants, it’s quick, comfortable and handles brilliantly. An exceptional winner and one that’ll be tough to beat next year.”
The current European Car of the Year follows in the footsteps of the fourth-generation Kia Sorento, which topped its class at last year’s Parkers New Car Awards winning ‘Best Large Family Car’.
The fully electric Kia boasts a 328-mile range, ultra-fast charging times and a sleek and modern design philosophy, and has received a multitude of awards including winning What Car?’s overall ‘Car of the Year’ for 2022. As is standard with all models, the EV6 comes with Kia’s ground-breaking seven-year, 100,000-mile warranty, for added peace of mind.
