KIA SUPPLIES OFFICIAL COURTESY CAR FOR CANARY WHARF SQUASH CLASSIC
Kia Motors (UK) Ltd has provided two New Sorentos to support the Canary Wharf Squash Classic in London. The tournament is held at the East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf with the world’s top professional squash players competing.
  • Two of the recently introduced Sorento 2.2 CRDi ‘GT-Line S’ will be used to chauffeur guests and the world's top squash players and assist with the five day tournament. Kia’s premium SUV is the ideal model for the event with seven-seats offering ample head and leg room for all passengers. The ‘GT-Line S’ variant is new to the Sorento line-up for 2018 and is equipped with heated and ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof and Adaptive Smart Cruise Control.

Tim Garner, Tournament Director said ‘It’s great to have Kia on board providing the courtesy cars for this very special 15th edition of the Canary Wharf Classic. We always endeavour to align the event with brands that share our passion for sport and quality, so Kia fits the bill perfectly and we hope that this is the start of a long term relationship with the event.’

Now in its 15th year, the Canary Wharf Classic is a Professional Squash Association (PSA) M100 on the PSA World Squash Tour. This year’s draw features the World Champion Mohamed El Shorbagy and six players in the world top eight. Last year’s winner and six-time Champion, England’s Nick Matthew will be playing as part of his final World Tour. All matches are played on the all glass Eventis Pro Court that has been specially constructed for the East Wintergarden.
