Kia Motors (UK) Limited has captured Car Dealer magazine’s prestigious Car Dealer Power Award as Manufacturer of the Year for the second year in succession.
Presenting the Award, James Baggott, Managing Director of Car Dealer said: “Kia is a brand that is seemingly unstoppable in its progress with well-designed and reliable cars all delivered with a seven year warranty.
“With great cars in the line-up and a dealer network that is clearly a thriving and happy one it is no surprise that Kia has successfully defended its title of top dog from last year!” he added.
Paul Philpott, President and Chief Executive of Kia Motors (UK) Limited commented: “This is a very special award for us to win because it is voted for by dealers across all the brands from right round the country. The partnership with our dealers is absolutely essential to us and sharing our success is at the heart of everything we do.”
Kia has just recorded its best-ever first half sales performance – passing the 50,000 mark for the first time despite stiff market conditions during the last three months. Kia has targeted a full-year sales number of 92,000 with a longer-term goal of 100,000 sales a year before the end of the decade.
