KANGOO CARRIES AWAY AUTO EXPRESS VAN OF THE YEAR TITLE

The All New Renault Kangoo has added to its trophy haul after winning the ‘Van of the Year’ award at the Auto Express New Car Awards 2023.

  • Blending a payload of as much as 987kg and a load volume of up to 4.2m3 with distinctive style and an abundance of technology, the All New Renault Kangoo impressed the magazine’s reviewers with its drive, versatility, value and attractive appearance. The popular van won the much-coveted award after being judged according to the way owners use it and need it to perform, before being evaluated against its key rivals.

On awarding the latest-generation of the Renault Kangoo, Steve Fowler, Editor-in-Chief, Auto Express, said: “If you need a van without compromises, the Kangoo fits the bill. Its car-like tech and driving manners mix with huge versatility and a cavernous load space. It’s cost-effective and we reckon it’s one of the best-looking vans on the road, too – the ideal tool for any business.”

The latest award reaffirms the All New Renault Kangoo’s class-leading status, with the newest version of Renault’s compact LCV shaking up the small van sector since its introduction in 2022. Notably, its many accolades include winning the International Van of the Year award in 2022.

Guillaume Sicard, Country Head UK & Managing Director Renault Brand UK, said: “We are exceptionally pleased to accept this award. It recognises how the All New Renault Kangoo delivers in every possible way, merging car-like refinement and technology-focused features with uncompromised practicality and versatility. The All New Kangoo embodies our extensive experience in developing and manufacturing both LCVs and EVs, providing van buyers with a vehicle that meets their requirements today and in the future.”

A range of glazing options, an extra-wide side loading door, up to 44 litres of in-cab storage, and a clever new Easy Inside Rack are just some of the features that further broaden its appeal.
