Enviraz, which has its main headquarters in Glasgow and has operated in the region and nationwide for over 40 years, has purchased 25 Renault Pro+ Commercial Vehicles, consisting of 18 Renault Master and seven Renault Kangoo models. The new Renault Pro+ Commercial Vehicles will fulfil a key role in providing bespoke asbestos management solutions to construction companies, real estate agents, hospitals, places of learning, offices, retail stores, industrial buildings, leisure facilities and domestic dwellings.

As well as assisting Enviraz crews with initial site surveys and transportation to and from work locations, the Renault Pro+ Commercial Vehicles will be used to transport asbestos with the business adding a dedicated aluminium waste compartment to the spacious load areas.

The Masters and Kangoos join the rest of the Renault Pro+ Commercial Vehicles on the Enviraz fleet – with vehicles from the French manufacturer accounting for two-thirds of its 75 cars and vans. The dependability of its previous Renaults and the support from the manufacturer and local Arnold Clark dealerships being key influences in its decision to reinvest in the brand.

A high standard specification, value, efficiency and the number of recycled materials in the vans’ construction – reinforcing Enviraz’s environmental commitment – also helped to drive the purchase.

Enviraz ordered their Renault Masters in medium wheelbase, medium roof height (MM35, front-wheel drive) with the dCi 130, 2.3-litre turbodiesel engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Supplied in Business trim, the standard specification includes a Thatcham compliant alarm and electronic immobiliser, ABS with EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution), heated and electrically-adjustable door mirrors, ESC (Electronic Stability Control) with Grip Xtend, Hill Start Assist and Trailer Swing Assist, multi-function trip computer, and DAB radio with Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

The company’s latest standard length (ML19) Kangoo models, benefit from the new ENERGY dCi 110 turbodiesel engine, which achieves up to 64.2mpg (combined) and emits as little as 115g/km CO2, matched to an efficiency-enhancing six-speed manual gearbox. In Business+ trim, the vans come complete with such features as manual air conditioning, electrically operated and folding door mirrors, body coloured bumpers and rear parking sensors. Additionally, Enviraz added the optional R-Link multimedia system that provides satellite navigation, on-board connectivity and access to TomTom LIVE services.

All of the vans were supplied by Arnold Clark Renault dealerships in Glasgow, the Masters being prepared by Hillington Renault and the Kangoos being delivered via Bishopbriggs Renault, the latter also being a dedicated, business-focused Pro+ Business Centre. The application of Enviraz’s eye-catching livery, plus the installation of the internal racking and bespoke aluminium asbestos waste compartments, were fully managed by the dealerships enabling  the Renault Pro+ Commercial Vehicles  to start working immediately upon delivery, reinforcing Renault’s commitment to providing customers with tailor made solutions.

Additionally, Renault Master is available in Crew Van and Passenger body styles, plus a host of off-the-shelf factory conversions that include Tipper, Platform Cab, Dropside, Luton LoLoader and Box Van variants. The Renault Master range starts from £25,120 (excluding VAT and delivery).

Adaptable and durable, the Renault Kangoo range offers panel van, Maxi crew van in both ICE and fully electric powertrains. Customers choose from Business, Business+ and Formula Edition (depending on body style) levels of trim. The Renault Kangoo is priced from £15,530 (excluding VAT and delivery).
