SUTTON PARK STAY SAFE SYSTEM
Please note our Stay Safe system is still in place across all of our dealerships, any customers dropping a vehicle in to our service department can be assured we are following guidelines.
You’ll find a warm non-contact welcome upon entering the dealership, we have a hand sanitisaion area upon entrance, perspex screening fitted at our service desks and clear one way markers in place, meaning your visit is made as easy and safe as possible.
Please read the signs at the door and follow the markers for service, this will ensure a safe social distance for everyone. Please remember to stay at least two metres apart from other people.
You’ll find a hand sanitising station upon entry to the dealership and our staff will prompt you to sanitise when necessary. Be reassured that we have also introduced a ‘safe system’ of stringent hygiene protocols and enhanced cleaning procedures throughout all our dealerships.
Our staff have been issued with the appropriate PPE and they will sanitise your vehicles key touch points before and after your appointment as well as using covers and vehicle protection kits.
Before your visit we kindly ask you to partially wind down your window 5 minutes prior to your arrival to ventilate the vehicle and ensure your air conditioning is turned off. We also require customers to wear face masks upon arrival to our service departments.
So we can manage the flow of customers, we are asking all service customers to make an appointment online or via the phone prior to your visit and we ask the same where possible, for those looking to view our new and used vehicles.
We will operate a strict 2-metre social distancing policy with clear communication and markers on the floor to aid this. Showrooms have been rearranged to allow for more open space with a maximum of 4 customers allowed in our waiting areas or 2 in our smaller showrooms.
You’ll find a hand sanitising station upon arrival at our dealerships and our staff will prompt you to sanitise when necessary. Be reassured that we have also introduced a ‘stay safe system’ of stringent hygiene protocols and enhanced cleaning procedures throughout all our premises.
Our colleagues may be wearing facemasks. Alternatively, service & sales desks will have Perspex screens that will be familiar to you if you have visited your local supermarket recently?
We will be limiting the number of people in the dealership. No refreshments will be served in the dealership, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Your vehicles key touch points will be cleaned and sanitised on the way in and way out of the workshop and protective covers will be fitted prior to working on your car. Protective covers will be removed after work is complete and keys sanitised before being returned.
In terms of any relevant paperwork and invoicing for the work carried out, we will, wherever possible, supply this electronically and payments will only be accepted via debit or credit card. If you have a service plan, your payment may have already been pre-paid.
For peace of mind we have included a short video to show you our stay safe system in place.
We look forward to seeing you again soon, until then, stay safe and please stay home if you have any symptoms of coronavirus.
UPDATE Face masks and coverings to be mandatory in car showrooms. In line with Government guidance please wear a face mask when you visit Sutton Park.
The Government has announced that it will now be mandatory to wear a face covering whenever entering a supermarket or store which includes car showrooms.
Those who fail to comply with the new rules will face a fine of up to £100, the government has announced.
As per the latest updates all of our staff will also be wearing facemasks.
In accordance with Government guidelines and to ensure the safety of all our customers and staff, we kindly ask that all customers, excluding exemptions* wear a face covering while visiting us.
And remember social distancing is still in place, lets all remain 2m apart where possible and wash our hands at the hand sanitiser station.
Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.
LATEST UPDATE 25/09/20
Car retailers are among businesses across the UK which must now display QR codes to allow the NHS COVID-19 ‘track and trace’ app to monitor the movement of their staff and customers.
Under rules that came into force yesterday (September 24) each dealership location must clearly display posters featuring the codes which allow both staff and customers to immediately check-in upon entry to the building via a smartphone device.
The names and addresses of those without a handheld device with which to scan the codes must be manually collected.
All of our Sutton Park dealerships across the Midlands will now display QR codes for scanning upon arrival.
New and Used Car Sales Now Fully Open
We can now confirm, following further announcements from the Government, that all of our showrooms will reopen from 2nd December for Sales.
So we can manage the flow of customers whilst keeping our showrooms safe, we are asking customers where they can, to make an appointment online or via the phone prior to your visit. We are limiting visits to one person, per household. All vehicles on site will be locked at all times, should you wish to view the vehicle all touch points will be sanitised prior and after use.
If you have a vehicle on order with us, we are working hard to clear our backlog as quickly as possible and are working hard to make contact with all customers. However should you still need an update, please contact your local Sutton Park dealership via the contact us page.
If you are looking at a new or used vehicle and prefer not to visit our showrooms we can supply a recorded video tour of the vehicle you are interested in and you can safely reserve it online or over the phone for a £99 refundable deposit. Should you wish to proceed to purchase any finance applications can also be done over the phone, where possible. Should you be required to sign any documentation this will be done digitally where possible, or an appointment can be made for you to visit our showroom.
If you wish to part-exchange your vehicle or require a valuation, we have several options available. If you are unable to visit us, we would request some detailed information on the condition of your vehicle and where possible a video, so we can provide a guide valuation. Otherwise if you would like to bring your vehicle in to us so we can carry out a full appraisal, please arrange an appointment online or over the phone. Upon arrival we will request all doors and tailgate are opened 10 minutes prior to appraisal to ensure correct ventilation.
Test drives are available, however prior booking is advised and will be limited to one person, plus a Sales Executive who will be seated in the passenger side rear of the vehicle and will be wearing suitable PPE, ensuring windows are wound down to keep the vehicle well ventilated.
You will then be contacted prior to handover where a detailed explanation of the vehicles operation will be explained, whilst we keep handover time to a minimum. We will also provide links to manufacturer websites for further details. Whether your new vehicle is being collected from the Dealership or delivered, we will follow the appropriate hygiene measures and sanitise the car thoroughly, placing protective covers on the most touched areas and provide the key in a plastic bag.
