Sutton Park are pleased to support the Motability Scheme and offer a broad range of adapted vehicles to meet disabled motorists' requirements. We work hard to help disabled motorists and their families become more mobile and enjoy the independence of owning a car.
What is Motability?
The Motability Scheme enables disabled motorists to lease a new car using their government funded mobility allowance. Sutton Park have partnered with the initiative to provide easy access to specialist cars of the highest quality, with each Motability car supplied maintaining the high standards you've come to expect from Sutton Park.
How does Motability work?
Many of the modified vehicles we offer do not need any advance payment, and typical packages include:
• Brand new car every three years
• Insurance and personal accident cover
• Road tax included
• Servicing, maintenance and repairs included
• Breakdown assistance from RAC
If you are unsure if you are eligible for Motability, our dedicated Motability specialists can lead you through the entire process of applying. The Motability Scheme allows the exchange of your government-funded mobility allowance for a brand-new car and you may be eligible if you receive one of the following:
• Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance
• Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment
• War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement
• Armed Forces Independence Payment
The scheme is not simply limited to drivers. If a claimant is under the age of 16, their parent/guardian/carer can qualify on their behalf. For further details on eligibility, please visit the Motability Scheme website. Should you require adaptations before taking ownership of your new car we will organise them on your behalf, and ensure they are completed to the highest standard with no compromise to your driving enjoyment.
