[Apologies in advance for the essay!] My mum decided that it was time for a new car and so she and I visited a few dealerships only to be met with disappointment, shady sales practices and a total lack of respect in one particular instance. Starting to feel defeated, we found the right car for the right price on Sutton Park's Burton website and decided to call to see if we could drive up to see it. The call was answered by Matt C, who was very friendly, polite and enthusiastic, inviting us to come and see the car whenever it suited us, and where to find him once we'd arrived. To our surprise, when we got there, there were in fact 3 cars that would all have suited my mum perfectly, each of a similar age and mileage but two were of a slightly higher spec. Matt let us look around all three, giving us the time to start them up, inspect them and make our own decision. He was there when we needed to ask a question but did not force any choices upon us whatsoever. He gave us nothing but transparency and, most importantly to me, he treated my mum with respect where so many others in the motor trade have simply dismissed her. Matt didn't do this at all - he listened to her, made sure that she was absolutely in control of the decision and answered every question she had. Mum decided on which of the three she would like and we went for a test drive. She is a very nervous driver when it comes to an unfamiliar area, especially with a passenger she doesn't know, so for the first part of the test, I took the car out to an area that Matt suggested which was quieter and more suited for my mum to take over - which was perfect. The way Matt had been with us had already calmed her nerves, and she did great with the test drive, and Matt let her do what she needed - no pushiness and he even managed to hide his terror as she drove ! (Joking, of course!) Upon returning to the dealership, the first question Matt had for us was "tea or coffee?" which was exactly what the doctor had ordered. Whilst he kindly sorted our drinks out, mum and I both agreed that not only was that the perfect car, but that Matt had been the perfect salesman. After such an awful start in the search, it seems that fate had fallen in our favour to lead us there, and we couldn't have been luckier than to have had Matt helping us. All parts of the part-exchange and car sale were explained in regular language, not all jargon and confusing terms, and again, with no pressure at all. We collected the car two weeks later (due to our work commitments, not the dealership in any way), where on the way Matt called us to make sure we were okay and on the way since we had forgotten to ring again since it was a bit of a hectic morning. Upon arriving the first question was "Tea or coffee?", just what was needed after the hour or so journey there. Keys handed over, all paperwork sorted, Matt came to the car with my mum to talk her through various functions and where bits were, since it had been a fortnight since she was last there, and to answer any more questions we may have thought of in the time between. Mum purchased the car two days ago and this afternoon Matt called to make sure she was still happy with the car and if everything was okay. It really meant a lot to her, and shows just how good he is at his job, that he really does care about the customer. I'm not sure if it's come across at all during this thesis but we could not speak higher of Matt and his phenomenal service. I truly hope that Sutton Park look after him because he really is a fantastic salesman and a decent, honest person. My thanks to him for treating my mum with respect and for being, from the first phone call to his follow up call today, friendly, polite, cheerful and above all, genuine. The car is great and we couldn't be happier with our experience with Sutton Park, Burton-On-Trent. When it's time for me to get a new car, I know they will be the first on my list to call. From the initial contact from Mohammed enquiring whether I was interested in changing my car right through collection of my new hyrbid captur he couldn't have been more helpful and also since collection. He regularly kept me up-to-date with the progress and I have never experienced such an in-depth handover before from any Renault dealer. I have had Renault over the last 12 year or so must have had 3/4 Clio one from you and this is my 3rd Captur which have been from you and without a doubt Mohammed is the best sales person. Needless to say it's early days driving a completely different type of car but I'm thrilled with it.

Purchased a Jaguar XF off Sutton Park Burton around 2 weeks ago, sadly i was informed it wasn't ready for the collection date. That being said, it was down to them not wanting it to go without being to their very high standards, and to that I could not complain. When it was ready to collect (only 3 working days later) , it was immaculate with 4 new tyres, new front brakes and a 12 month MOT on it. I cannot fault the team at all for the service, and especially arranging a courtesy car as I had already sold my previous car. I would highly recommend this company. We decided to downsize from two older cars to one new one, and my wife has for a long time dreamed having a new red Clio. The 1.6 litre self-charging hybrid version appealed to me, a long-time diesel car driver, because it has a powerful engine for long distance driving, yet should return good mpg with the hybrid configuration. It was a good experience from start to finish at Sutton Park Burton for our new Clio RS Line. I selected the dealer from various Carwow offers - Sutton Park were very competitive with every different model configuration I submitted. Our contact James has been excellent, keeping me regularly informed whilst awaiting a delivery date, and handing over the car to us last week. It was immaculately clean with no issues and James was very patient in explaining all the high-tech features to us. Now my only problem is that I'm hardly getting to drive it because my wife loves it to bits and is always out in it.

40miles away from my house, deals with them base on they available test drive for the car which I interested. Captur PHEV, many dealer even none any car for show . Best services on order , waiting times as long 5 months , keep updating. *Personal advice : please double check which edition your choice, what included or not in black & white ! Because the vehicle for test drive maybe ONLY build for test drive specialist, some of the extra will Not as standard. On that day I request for RS line full spec . But some not come with after I get my new car. ( salesman no reply my question after paperwork signed). * I trade in my vehicle for the new car , sell price 10% for deposit , 90% balance I need for other purpose use. Manager told that small amounts deposit better I just paid it, then direct sell the vehicle to them , easy for accountants process. But ! I received my payment 5 working day after .( I call for asking on day 4 ). In my opinion, dealer buying any car will get paid in same day , even cheques will credit in days three . By the end it was good car for the Captur PHEV after a week driving.

I negotiated purchase of a Renault Grand Scenic for my younger daughter and son in law. I live in County Durham, my daughter in Gloucestershire and the car was based in Burton on Trent. Add to this the fact that the car was to take the family on holiday near Lands End the day after delivery then it's not difficult to envisage plenty of scope for disaster. I found my wife’s new car online through Autotrader. Making an appointment with Mohammed Khan at this Sutton Park Group dealer was easy and he made allowance for the fact that we had a long distance to travel to get there. Mohammed was friendly, courteous and helpful and we were able to negotiate a very satisfactory deal. The car was as described and in great mechanical shape. It had full service history and all other documentation. In view of the long distance the car had to be delivered to us by an independent company and we were impressed to learn that the spare key had been posted to us separately for security reasons (we received it in the next post). I would not hesitate to purchase from this dealer again. It was a pleasure doing business with Mohammed.

I cannot fault the service from Burton branch. Abbie was informative and attentive and organised for a local test drive with no obligation to buy. She also arranged delivery and liaised with our local branch regarding service and mot. After sale service was also spot on. Pity Stourbridge branch was not as helpful. We originally enquired with them and despite 2 follow up calls they never got back to us. Hence we went to burton directly. Additionally the time taken to service and mot the car by Stourbridge was quite long and doesn’t inspire is with confidence to use Stourbridge branch for further services or purchases. Pity burton wasn’t closer to us. Well done Abbie and all the staff who always helped us when Abbie wasn’t available.

I've been getting my Motability cars from this dealership for over 20 years and the staff have usually been "OK" but the gentleman that looked after us (myself and my elderly Mum) this time , Mr Mohammed Khan at Burton, was by far the best person that I have ever dealt with there. Because of the COVID lockdown the delivery of our new car had to keep being put off but Mo kept us informed all the way through until he delivered the new car this week; nothing was too much for him to do for us, & he seems very dedicated to his job from what we have seen . Due to my epilepsy and brain tumour my memory is not very good at all and I stutter alot as well as having small seizures called Absences (my mind goes blank and sometimes I completely forget where I am & what I'm doing ) so it can be hard to understand me but Mo was always patient with me & didn't rush me, he treated me like a 'normal' person and that is so important when you have a disability due to chronic illnesses because a lot of people talk over you and don't listen to you. Non of my questions were too much trouble and David was really helpful l, assisting me to purchase a car I had only seen online. We recently had the pleasure of buying a car from this dealership, and I can honestly say the service was nothing short of AMAZING. Our Salesman was Ethan, and the car was for my Daughter, and he couldn't have been more helpful and courteous throughout the whole process, he actually spoke to her direct rather than through me, a lot of salespeople could learn a lot from this guy!!. We went the first weekend to view and test drive the car, (having put down a £99 reservation fee), and it was there at the front of the car park waiting for us as we arrived. The test drive was basically where we wanted to go, none of this 1 mile up the road and then back, I think we covered 9 or 10 miles total and had the chance to have a run on the A38. After that, no pressure techniques, just professional, friendly service. We had a trade-in, and after a little negotiating, he gave us what we thought was a fair price and agreed the deal that day, Ethan left us alone to discuss before we agreed, not sat there putting pressure on. On our return to collect the car the following weekend, again it was sat there all valeted, ready and waiting. We went inside to do the final bits of paperwork, and then Ethan came outside got in the car and talked us through every control on the screen, (Sat Nav, DAB Phone etc), nothing was too much trouble and there was no rushing us off now we had paid. I honestly can't recommend these guys enough, and if you are lucky enough to speak to Ethan, then I guarantee you will get excellent service.

We've been using Sutton park for the last three years and frankly they haven't missed a beat. Servicing is done efficiently and staff are courteous. During the course of a recent sales visit we were well looked after despite being an hour early. I lost count of how many times we were offered drinks. Ethan was very friendly and helpful before and during the purchase of my Renault Clio. He has also helped sort any problems which have arisen since, although I was very disappointed that the Company would not accept responsibility or deal with the puncture which I experienced within an hour of collecting the vehicle!

A couple of weeks ago I bought a Ford Fiesta from this dealership, served by Mohammed Khan. It was a pleasure to do business from them from start to finish. Despite being 40 years old it’s the first time I’ve ever bought a car from a dealership, and just popped in here to have a look at what cars they’d got. Mohammed took the time to find out if you needed help, but was it your stereotypical pushy salesman. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the car before I bought it, and even offered me some of his chocolate must be with the sorting out the paperwork All in all I would highly recommend this company. A good range of cars, new and used, great customer service and, if you’re offered a drink whilst you’re there I can recommend the hot chocolate.

Very friendly service both professional and honest wile the staff dealt with the sale of our new car dotting the i,s and crossing the t,s they had time to make the experience of exchanging cars non stressful. First time buyer. Mo was unbelievably helpful. After my initial choice of car was unavailable, he personally tracked down another car of better spec for me and made sure that everything was ok with the car BEFORE I had even seen it. From there, Mo was very professional and helpful in making sure that the car suited for my needs. I first went to the Burton dealership in February this year and spoke to Mo who listened to what I required from a car and he spent time with me was very patient and friendly and managed to source a Renault capture that suited me perfectly. In August my husband was looking to change his vehicle and I suggested we go back and see Mo as he was so good with me. He successfully again sourced a car that fitted my husbands requirement. I would not hesitate to recommend especially Mo and his colleagues for being so helpful.

Just picked up my second hand Renault Captur from Sutton Park Burton. Fabulous. Went last week to test drive 2 cars. Nice long test drives, no pushy sales talk, honest pros and cons about each model. I was looking to change my car over and had previously purchased here. I was handed over to Mohammed to handle the sale of the car I was looking at. I had already found the car over at the Tamworth site, but the time and effort Mohammed had already put in was impeccable and I was more than happy to proceed with him processing the sale. Throughout he was amazing, ensuring all my questions were answered and I was informed with all relevant information and I had a clear understanding of this. He was great to speak to and had alot of time ensuring we were happy with the purchase. Came to Sutton Park Burton to look at purchasing my first brand new car. Would highly recommend to anyone, staff were very helpful and open when dealing with me viewing the car, test driving the car and sorting out the finance side which I was fairly worried about as it is a big commitment for me at my age, but Dave Wyllie the manager I spoke to made everything so easy and simple to make a decision. Dealt with the manager Dave Wyllie with the purchase of two vehicles now. Both times the professionalism shown has been excellent with all questions and queries being answered with clear and easy to understand explanations so that we could proceed with the purchases with minimal stress. Since purchasing the vehicles both have been back to the dealership for servicing and up keep work and again we have been greeted with the same level of professionalism and support! Excellent friendly welcome from Ethan when I went to look for my next motability car. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and even now, two weeks after picking my car up, he remembers that I drink coffee and my friend drinks tea. It’s the first thing he does when we walk in!! Excellent service, I was kept informed of progress every step of the way. This is my sixth motability car and it is the first time that has happened. Very impressed.

We've just purchased a used Vauxhall from Abbie Prince at Sutton Park Renault. From my initial contact with Abbie through to her arranging to collect my wife from the train station to collect the car I found her and her colleagues to be honest, easy to deal with, absolutely straightforward and above all very efficient and relaxing to deal with. The car itself is exactly as described and what we were looking for, we are very pleased with it and I believe we paid a fair price for a good vehicle. This dealership is approx 80 miles from where we live but our experiences of the dealers closer to us were not positive at all.

We purchased a Dacia Duster the other week from the Burton branch. The service we got there was second to none. The young man Ethan, dealt with our needs from start to finish, without pushing or trying to make us purchase something we didn't want. Everything was made clear, no hidden costs, no hidden problems. Bought a new second hand car after a few bad experiences buying private (via Facebook) here and they explained all of the Financial options very clearly and asked what I was looking for and found a few vehicles from a few locations and then price matched when a similar vehicle I was interested in at another location was sold. The service here is fantastic and sales executive Mo Khan is very helpful and genuine, He has been involved in my last four cars and as always there's been no fuss.
